Adam Lampton has been photographing Macau, which has relied on gambling (and synonymously, Stanley Ho) to attract tourism to an otherwise sheltered, insular port city of magnified Eurasian contrasts. These contrasts are certainly increasing towards a consumerist mecca of gambling that is dramatically changing the urban architecture of Macau. These four are just some favourites…

My trip to Macau, and subsequently Guangzhou and Hong Kong, was fantastic! I met amazing people, extremely talented artists. I shot as much film in 10 days in Macau & HK than I did in the 3 weeks I spent in Lisbon last December.
